About Me
Hello! My name is Anna Maxey. I'm a freshman at Furman University, majoring in Communication Studies. I have a passion for understanding how media influences and shapes the world we live in today! My digital portfolio showcases my projects, skills, and creative solutions I've accomplished to complete various tasks. Through my work, I seek to demonstrate not only my digital abilities, but my devotion to perseverance and storytelling. My goal is to use my digtial portfolio as a tool to provide easy access to my capabilities and make a great impression to future employers! Family
I'm from Jefferson, GA and now I'm living in Greenville, SC. I have 5 siblings; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Being apart of such a big family has taught me how to be responsible and adapt to certain situations. Having so many siblings means we're all competitive, but our competitive nature has shaped me into who I am today!
Travel
I love to travel! I recently just went to Mt. Rainier over this past summer and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest! In 6 months, I will be traveling abroad! Italy is my next stop and I cannot wait to write about my experiences there!
Activities
I love basketball as well. I grew up in the gym and have met some of my very best friends through the game. Basketball taught me how not only to be a strong leader, but a strong woman. I've had amazing coaches who I still keep in touch with. Without basketball, I won't be as compassionate and authoritative as I am today!
Activities
I love to serve in the community around me! I went on a mission trip to New Orleans in 2022 and fell in love with helping people and giving back to different types of communities. When I'm not in school, I look for ways to serve the community I'm living in!
